DESCRIPTION:
The story is told from the woman’s point of view.
We go inside her mind
and soul, and we find things there that are sometimes found within our
own minds and souls.
Strength, for example. And hope.
Qualities we
didn’t know we had until Fate shows them to us.
And the stranger
learned lessons too—not least of which is:

lady with a shotgun?
She was an abused woman. But now her jackass husband was dead, and she
was ready to get on with her life. She had no intention of meeting
another man. But sometimes fate outmaneuvers intentions. The stranger
had lost his way in the bottomlands, and an “invisible path” had led him
to her back door.
